Camburg built KINETIK Trophy Truck for Greene Motorsport

Here is the new Trophy Truck we are building for Greene Motorsport. Jason Campbell and Craig Hall put their minds together and came up with this awesome new design leaving nothing on the table. A few of the new features on this truck are 16" coilovers and by-pass shocks upfront, more interior room, better weight balance, and lower center of gravity. Check back often as we will be posting updates and pictures during the build of this state if the art machine.

So why did you guys change the design from the last trophy truck? Were there design or collision issues? The back over the axle is much larger. Is it going to be an SUV, or dd you have crack issues?

Re: Camburg built KINETIK Trophy Truck for Greene Motorsport

The design is really not that much different but after running this truck for a year we felt we needed more room to mount things. The new rear cage section is for packaging. You can see where the radiators are and oil coolers are. This will also let us have some flow through the cab instead of acting like a parachute... The new front suspension will have way better motion ratios with much larger shocks. This will give us way better ride quality and less heat in the shocks. We are working with Eibach on having custom springs to handle the wheel travel without coil bind and make available correct springs for these trucks. The limiting factor on wheel travel is springs and motion ratios. Right now it is a very tight package in all the trucks out there with what is available.
The current truck we have still has not had any cracking issues or collision issues. The truck we have we will still be racing as it is 100% competitive and has no issues. The new trucks are just more refined and are designed from scratch with the changes we made with our current truck. Like any products we make we will never settle for good enough.

Looks good Jerry. If people saw the first Geiser design and the current one I GUARANTEE there are way more changes than this thing from the first Camburg TT. Of course with time you can ALWAYS design something better. Its good to see you guys making changes to make it better rather than just settling for "ok". Its just like any auto maker each year they come out with a new model thats based off the new one but has some cool changes to make it better!

Are you guys going to go with your original steering setup or another rack? Looking good though!

Jerry, really like the new design. The rear bolts on those lower arms will be way easier to get to

Keep it up! I'll be keeping track of the build-up
