Unfortunately nothing new to report yet, besides having a lot of other jobs to get done, everyone at Solo simply needed a break from the truck. No big deal for me as I needed to focus on other things myself as well.
Hopefully things will get back on track soon and we can get her finished up. Right now the guys at Solo are giving my poor old Explorer a much needed face-lift before it goes to the paint shop.

Ha HA what a dumb ass just saw my own spelling DEFINITELY,
No worries, thanks for the compliment Steve!
"Defiantly" actually works if you only knew how demanding I was with them at times during the build, but the cool thing is they always come through for me and give me what I want or better.
I really want to thank Tony for his design/fab work/welding, Flynn for his design/fab work/welding, Carl for all his patience, Ryan for all his hard work, Aaron for the wiring, Paul/Gary/Damien for all thier hard work, Bobby for going WAY out of his way to take care of a high maintenance customer, and everyone else that I may have missed that lent a hand.
Solo does some really great fab work, your truck came out amazing. There is nothing I do not like on this truck. I'm Looking forward to seeing some action shots of it when it gets out of the shop.
It went to TurnKey yesterday as planned and everything went real well, 520 HP!!!!!!! Needless to say I was thrilled with 520 as I was expecting it to be somewhere around 450-470. I'll post up the dyno sheet tommorow when I get it for anyone that's interested.
Sorry for the delay with the dyno info, but I've been pretty busy lately. Anyway I finally got to speak with Kory @ TurnKey. He sent me the dyno info and did his best to explain what was what. Most of it went right over my head as I'm new to LS engines, but as I understand it the 520 HP number was what the engine was estimated to have (at the crank) using a formula he provided me. The Rear Wheel HP and Torque numbers generated on the chassis dyno are significantly lower. See attached if your interested.
It runs and sounds great so no matter what I'm a happy camper!
The guys at Solo took it out to Barstow for some break-in and testing yesterday. It ran great with no problems. I can't wait to drive it myself later this month.
In addition to thanking the guys at Solo, I want to thank Kurt (DC Shock Services) for all his effort on it yesterday as well.
