It was always 45 hours. I heard that weeks before the race.

Enjoyed the video ...wasn't too happy about so many sped up clips! ....Heard Mike Rowe and instantly started looking for a Crab Boat!!..... My understanding was that the time was extended for course issues, not just so the Ford EB's could come in under the wire...
