They are showing the hp as 365, torque as 420 for the F-150 versions of the engine. On pump gas. And a hundred pounds lighter than the V-8 it replaces. The real question is will Ford see the wisdom of selling that motor/trans without a truck attached to it. It would be possible for a local Ford dealer to retrofit your old Ford truck (that gets under 10 mpg) with their new motor that gets a claimed 23 mpg. If they really wanted to think outside the box they would offer that motor/trans to retrofit all the fullsize trucks out there. Make that available for a reasonable price, throw in a rebate for replacing your old motor/trans and they could find a million buyers. That's a lot of jobs created, and a lot of truck owners driving more efficient trucks.
