I had found a 1991 ranger with no motor an found a motor from a 93, its the same model 2.3L(the 2.3L OHC), just just pulled from a different year truck, or do i need to find a 2.3L strictly fro a 1991 ranger?

A 1991 Ranger can use any engine that came in that specific body style. I.E. 1989-1992 engines. The 1993 engine would be usable in any Ranger 1993-1997. Once the VIN is removed during the "trimming", the only way tech can identify the truck is by the body style and casting numbers on the engine block and head...

Last time I talked to Goorsky he sounded like he would be there with a new set-up that may bring him some more speed. Hopefully Jenkins will be back with his A-game. Jeffries' little Toyota has had some hard luck with engine failures, hopefully he'll be back and pushing for the lead. Andrea Pathiakis' truck has also struggled a bit with some gremlins... hopefully she's got them ironed out in time. Jay King has been a regular in his Toyota that sports the opposite paint job to Cody Jeffries' Toyota. Beau Johnson has been fighting some front shock issues, hopefully he'll be there with a new shock set-up so he can do battle. Art Ramirez debuted a new truck last round, as did Bobby Palmer. In fact Bobby Palmer put down the fastest lap of the main event in his new truck @ Elsinore.

With the top two trucks from the ASCC series looking to come put the smackdown on all the Cali trucks at Glen Helen, it should be a pretty full field. I guess this may be a little preview of the spectacular action we should see in Vegas...

I’m going to try and make it. If I can get a tranny shield on and get a helmet with enough left over to come play I’m there. I really want to see how it dose locked up with new tire setup. I probably should have worried about the helmet and tranny shield first.

We'll definetly be there, unfortunatly been super busy at work so not a lot of time to do the things Ive been wanting to do to the truck so It may still be a bit off pace but we'll have the rear end fixed and going all out again, see you all there!!
