Spare parts
What spare parts do you carry with you in your 9 car when you are racing or any special tools other than wrenches and a socket set, ect.
Thanks

depends on what track your on? If yor racing the 500 or the 1000 the list is a lot larger then a sprint type race with pits every 15-20 miles or so.

Re: Spare parts
one race that I sucked in! I short cutted a carb issue and had a really bad race.. We were the absolute last official finisher lol.... got a test day set up before BAP to dial in suspension.. it feels like it will be plush when dialed in..

for that i would only carry a spare belt, throttle cable, misc harware like 1 bolt for upper and lower shock, BJ washers &grub screws, axle nut, barrel nut for cable. It looks like a lot but its not and could all fit very easy in a tool bag. Im sure i'll think of more later

Re: Spare parts
BJ washers are the thick cut washers that go between your ball joint nut and the spindle. Grub screws are the screws with a jam nut that go in your arms. Both are important to have spares of.
Also, if you don't weld the camber adjuster in the spindle you will want to have one or two of those in the car. I also carry a nut, bolt and misalignment for my tie rod ends as well as one spare upper arm for each side in the car.
Doug is right about it not being that much. All my stuff fits in a tool bag very easily (except the arms).
