i stand corrected. # 6 in the "don't know chit" poll. #4 in the coaches poll. BYU # 7 in both... fasten your seat belts cause this game against the Y will be a good one. if SDSU can keep "jimmer" to around 30 instead of the 47 he got last time, they have a great shot. the guy is phenomenal and that will be very difficult. he has made just 7 less free throws than the whole rest of his team. and he's very good at drawing fouls. this is gonna be a barn burner. "jimmer". that's his real name too. WTF were his folks thinking?

Nice thread Randy, looks like a one man show,hahaha...... I going to go out on a limb and say SDSU will beat BYU Sat, Home court..... BTW BYU is not some power house school like you think..... But Mormons love their B-ball!!! I know I'm a ref tonight for a youth LDS game, saying is , "give blood play church basketball" Funny story, got a pic sent to me today, my cousin is the Jimmers or whatever his name is Body guard shows my cuz walking with him ........ funny stuff....

But Mormons love their B-ball!!! I know I'm a ref tonight for a youth LDS game, saying is , "give blood play church basketball" Funny story, got a pic sent to me today, my cousin is the Jimmers or whatever his name is Body guard shows my cuz walking with him ........ funny stuff....

of course they're not some power house. just a small time outfit with a following a million and a half strong globally and a multi million dollar 8 game football package with espn. they got more money in that big space station lookin' thing with no purpose on highway 5 by la jolla than most universities have in their entire athletic budgets . but they're no threat to notre dame and them mackeral snappers. jimmer shouldn't be lacking in body guards come saturday. he'll have quite a few.

i want to clear the air here a little bit. i think all religions suck and are the bain of mankind BUT i totally respect the mormon folks and how they're self sufficient and independent lifestyles they have intact work for them. i've never met a mormon i haven't gotten along with and i was raised growing up with some mormon kids that i considered close personal friends of mine. i'm not anti mormon. i'm just an SDSU fan that's tired of getting throttle whomped by BYU, but puleeze....no more non sense about them being a small time school hidden away somewhere in utah. that's total bullchit and it just doesn't wash. it doesn't take much to google them to find out how they're doing in the real picture of things.

LDS Youth Basketball is referred to around here as "The only war started with a prayer."

And I should know, I've fouled out in more than half of the games I played... Soccer and Lacrosse skills don't translate well to the Basketball court...

whatever the outcome, this game will show the rest of the country how good the mountain west conference is for real hoops fans that know what's up. i'd love to have the earplug concession at the arena.
