That's what happens when stuff is made over-seas. The biggest guy in the village is still small compared to the average American. Sometimes as the size goes up shirts get wider but not taller.

Quality Control is so poor. XL, XL Tall, 2XL, 2XL Tall, 3XL, 3XL Tall, are all the same size if it is a different brand.

I bought the SAME JEANS, SAME SIZE, from the same place online because the first pair was perfect, and because they changed counties for manufacturing, the next pair were super baggy, like mid 90's cross colors baggy. Three sizes too big.
This was only 3 weeks between the two orders.

I have had the issue in both directions, too big and too small.

It depends on the companies I have found. I wear a 2XL in just about everything. Even an XL in some button up shirts. I just bought some DC and O'Neal 2XL button up shirts and they don't even qualify as an XL.

This is funny. We were just talking about this last weekend in the garage. Believe it or not I still have shirts from the mid 90's desert races that are XL. Fit me just fine and are still in great shape even after all of the washes they have gone through. I now can not find a XL shirt in the stores that will fit me and have to go with a XXL. They also only last about a year and need to be thrown away because they are falling apart.
I think companies are skimping on the quality and in some cases are charging extra for XXL and XXXL and since the average guy is XL they make the clothing a little smaller so you have to buy the extra big sizes. Same goes for pants and shorts. I am a 36 waste but am forced to buy 38 just to be comfortable in them. Face it...That is what this country is coming to. They are making us think we are fat.
