    Re: Clothes made smaller??

it's not that hard to figure out. when the so called fashion trend went the way of everyone wearing baggy pants and shirts, clothing manufacturers started cutting the sizes larger. and now it's vice versa if trends change. it also has to do with the manufacturers as well. since hardly any outfits still make clothes here from scratch, you can even find differences in how clothes fit on an exact same piece of garment if one shirt is sewn up in mexico or if it's sewn up in indonesia from us materials as an example. it's really a shame, but i don't know of a single clothing manufacturer that anyone would recognize as being a so called name brand that makes their line of clothing exclusively in the good ols usa anymore..not carhartt, not levi strauss, not billabong, not wrangler, not quicksilver....no one. some outfits like carhartt might print on their labels saying "manufactured in taiwan from usa materials" or some such chit and that's about the best you can hope for these days i'm afraid. as far as how clothes fit you, try the f u c k i n g things on first. it's amazing on how well that works...buying pre-shrunk stuff is the way to go i've found if you can find it in the style you're looking for..especially with 100% cotton.
