i paid 6499 OTD in september but I think they are down to 5899 if you shop around. I got mine at LA cycle sports. I wouldnt go with a broker from canada or anywhere out of state for that matter...a few of my friends are screwed with bikes that have no sticker due to stupid ca EPA laws and improted bikes...some get lucky but for a couple hundred bucks...it aint worth the risk.

I got lucky and love it.... $5721 registered and all said and done for my '03 back in the day... Didn't have any issues and so far EVERYONE that I know that has bought the canadian bike, registered it outta state, held the title for 90 days and then transfered it in has gotten the green sticker, pink slip, and doesn't pay sales tax... I'm not rich so a couple hundred bucks is a TON when you're scrounging quarters to try and pay cash for a bike instead of financing...

I got an 02 when they first came out from canada because they were nowhere to be found. Plus, the exchange rates wree cheaper so I paid less for the bike and just registered it in Oregon with my grandpa, then after 90 changed titles and got a sticker from CA, no problem! I say do the canada thing, it's the way to go and plus less emissions means more power!
