Best Offroad Forced Air Helmet
I've got a plain jane HJC helmet ready to be retired and I'm looking for info on what to go to next.
We've been racing Class 1 and I've noticed that my current helmet seems 1) a bit heavier than others I've worn/held and 2) acts like a sail at high speeds. After races my neck is a bit sore (leading me to believe its a bit heavy) though that could have something to do with my R3 not being set up well (I am assuming it is). I've tried on different helmets at the sales trailers but its another thing to go run a few hundred miles in one to get a feel for its weight/aerodynamics, etc.
I would like to find a 1) lighter helmet 2) more aerodynamic helmet and 3) well sealed helmet (keeping the dust out).
Who's running what and how do you like it?

ive heard nothing but good things about the HJC Si-12 its on the upper end. 800+ for a SA2010 or 600 for a SA2005, but its less then 3lbs and sexy to boot. i tried one on it feels like nothing is on.

Re: Best Offroad Forced Air Helmet
I had an HJC and recently switched to an Impact Air Draft with the top port offset 20 degrees for cage clearance and I could not be happier. I have the composite model and it seems plenty light to me, but the carbon fiber one is even lighter if weight is a high priority.
