    Re: Restrepo

Haven't seen the movie but I finished the book "WAR" by Sebastian Junger a few weeks ago. It's everything that he could remember that didn't make it on film from his time over there. AMAZING people we have serving this country.

Heard the RESTREPO has been playing on the Nat Geo channel.

Edit: ** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**** ˇAy, caramba!**! good thing I checked the site, it's airing RIGHT NOW on Nat Geo. Started at 9.

Wish I saw this thread earlier. I've missed the first 20 minutes of it but I'm recording it. I've been trying to keep an eye out for when it comes on. Thanks.

I'm sure it will be shown again, too good not to show it again. Thanks for a heads up on the book, I didn't know there was a book.

Outstanding flick. Can't even imagine how much it sucked to be in that place. Check out what Sal Giunta (The first living Medal of Honor recipient since the Vietnam War.) Did to receive they award during "rock avalanche" and also his thoughts on receiving the medal.
