there are some rules you can get from the az loors web sit.the 205 tires were a great gear change for my car.the first race we had 3 cars ,but are hopeing to ge around 5 for the next race.its alot of fun, come check it out.
What are the rules regarding the gear box ,are they open, dose any one check them ? Gear box is open must be Type 1
What about tire size,and brand ? Open/Open
What about rim size and offset ? No wider than 8"
Do they P&G the winner?
They did not, But the rule is 9-1 Comp, Class 9, 1600 motor
How many 9 cars show up on a avarage?
We had three and it was the first race
Dose any one post the rules ?
Arizona short course page had rules but I don't see them now.
Lite Buggy Rules in a nut shell....

az has rules.so i guess just use thier rules untill class nine takes over.so far i have not seen a lite buggy.i thought some guy named cohn, kunup and shank were starting this lite thing up.sorry if i butcherd the spelling of the names.anyways yes side bet for sure.keep the entry fee low and let us bet between us.
I have been thinking of getting on the horn and getting something together so we dont have to butcher a 9 car and race short course. Kind of a "desert rules" setup with something in the area of different tires only. Has to meet all the same requirements as a class 9 in regards to weight and all the other good stuff.

I am prepping my desert car to race at Glen Helen on their Lorrs track not the enduro course.

If they allow the 9 to 1 cr, go for it.
4.12 w/1.42 fourth, sprung disc, cuz you're going to beat on it pretty hard.
Run a stiffer bar in the rear, aka go 26mm if you have 25mm now, etc
crank the bars full preload, maybe add some rebound in your rear shox.
Front wheels, use the 3-1/2" offset w/235Rx15 longitude cut(like farm tires).
Not too big of rear tire, look at those street t/a's 60 series like 28in dia.
big takes hp, don't go too crazy, with lots of cross cut grooving for forward bite!
And DON"T LIFT!!!
Most 1600 engines have around 12-13 compression ratio, I think it would make sense to be able to borrow a 1600 engine and run it, with or without restrictor plate.
