Re: Fire Guys Racing's transformation from 7s to 7200/Class 6 w/ Camburg Suspension
We bought everything we needed from PSC Motorsports for a ram assist steering run from the Toyota steering box they sell. We are sticking with the steering box and centerlink with this for now. We just haven't started building it yet because we are waiting for the BFG tires to come in to be sure everything clears when we build it.

Went backwards to go forwards this trip. We relocated the the spare drive shaft and mounted it. We also mounted the jack and handle, the spare parts/tool box (rocket box) and finished the straps for the fuel cell mount. Received the 2nd battery and installed it. Dean the body guy in the shop around the corner took care of "bobbing" the rear bed sides for us. That was about it for this trip, enjoy the pics.

I was going to purchase this box and ram setup and I found out PSCs toyota ram assist is more for the rock guys, and might lag a bit for faster steering. Please keep us up to date on how your steering reacts. AGR is building me a long sector shaft saginaw box with a submerged chevy pump and 6'' ram for my fake rack swingset on my yota, Ill let you know how it works. Keep up the good work PEACE!

I didn't take to many pictures of the engine stuff and apparently none of the new engine stuff that came in. We got all the stuff from LC Engineering, the new CP Pistons, Pauter Chromoly rods, the newly ported and polished throttle body and intake manifold, and the refurbished head with the custom ground cams. We got the block over to ASF Machine in Grand Junction to get it bored and honed for the new pistons and hope to get the engine together soon!

Here is the tire/wheel set-up we are using!! These have been on back-order for many months.... Thanks BFG for sending out 4 of them so we can finish building our steering and get to testing soon!!! We have to wait on the rest of our order with everyone else.
