Pro buggy/ ecotec
I heard through some reliable sources that Doug Fortin will run the new Ecotec engine at Glen Helen, If it's true who will be the next one in the pool?

Re: Pro buggy/ ecotec
I heard Tatum has two more on order just like Pat Deans. Pat's car worked great at Speedworld. Pat admitted to being a little timid in it, didn't want to ruin anybody else's race his first time out.

I heard the 1st one died in Firebird. Come on when have u seen Pat Dean take it easy at a race. Laughlin races, Terribles cup races, I think they just need to figure out some things but i stll dont like it. Im puttin my money on the Hondas> Bring it. If anyone could make it work with gearing its going to be Fortin. I just hope they dont make it mandatory. Let racers chose.

For someone like Fortin to take a chance with a basicaly new engine to short course racing and runs consistently up front has to mean that he thinks this just might work, I will deffinantly be checking out his lap times. I'm all ways looking at the cost to race ratio and still be competitive, from what I have seen you can find these engines for a very reasonable cost unlike the highly modified semi reliable Honda's or Toyota's that cost way more to rebuild or replace. Just ask me!

I know John people have had some bad luck sometimes with both engines. I heard you lost one and i believe Fortin lost his at the last race, Im sure people will try new things. Alot of the times engines fail is that were to aggressive with making power or trying new things. I see them go out alot because of whats happenning to the cars also, they get banged around alot, they lose fans, belts, oil coolers. fuel pumps and so on and the same thing will happen to these new engines. I dont think theres a cure all for engine failures. Look in any type of racing and no matter how much or less money you spend it happens. i just dont wanted to be a mandatory engine thats all. Keep up the good work i think your 9th in points huh? Good luck Bud

What are the rules for an ecotec in Super Buggy as far as size and fuel injected or carburetor .
