2011 Pikes Peak Photos and Videos

I am lucky enough to be in Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak this week so decided to take pictures and do videos, as I do, and share with everyone the experience.

I am staying at JT Taylor's house along with Sam Berri, Dave Cole, Kevin Yoder and a host of other co-drivers and crew. There is a lot of activity!

I won't just be focusing on the Open Class, but on as much as I can. I haven't been here before, so I am excited to get the lay of the land. We are about ready to head out to Tech, Rookie Meeting and Drivers Meeting.

Oh Wow! That is Cool!
I didn't see that today at Tech, but it was "smaller" than I thought it would be. Not really a hang out type of deal.
I did see a lot of other pretty neat rigs...

It was a great day! Lots of Amazing cars... can hardly wait to see them head up the hill tomorrow! Such an wide spectrum!

We have a 2am wake up and roll call in the morning! For those of you that know me...you are Laughing!

So...the video is cut, but not final edited and I am headed to bed. Will be finished after my nap tomorrow ;-)

We are running the Top Section Today. Clear skies so far. Frickin Cold though...yes, there is snow up here!

The blue Freightliner is racing the "other" hillclimb race this weekend, Mt Washington's "Climb to the Clouds" in New Hampshire. I'll be heading up there tomorrow myself. Not as big as Pike's Peak, but it's the first time they've run the event since the early 90's, so it's pretty awesome to have it back.
