not trying to discourage at all... I think the truck's coming along nicely!
I just wish someone had warned me at the beginning... especially if no one's helping you and it's your own money you have to spend.

Well these are all pictures over the last year just catching up to where I am now, just had to take the time to organize them all on the computer and get them in order! Haha
And what angles do you mean?

Thank you! It is my own money but im not on my own... my cousin is helping me through the build, and he's built a truck before so we are using the mistakes from that truck to build a more improved one for myself! (the other truck is where i got the front arms from and was the reasoning for altering the steering on the spindle) Haha

Alot of it is where the firewall was originally, except around the motor and outer edges of the truck, the angles you see is where I had clearance for the tires at full bump!

Dam, that engine looks good! Although I'd grab some different valve covers... correct me if I'm wrong, but they look like the tin ones, and those things are no bueno... they leak oil like crazy.
But anyways, DETAILS! Which heads, cams, did you bore it out, is it a stock crank or a 400 crank, etc etc. And of course, hp numbers... =)

Really nice build. Just out curiosity has anyone ever cut the frame even with the cross member and built a tube frame to mount J-arms to? I know it would be a lot work but it seems like it might be worth it for better geometry and more wheel travel. Again it looks really nice and I am just asking not trying to start anything and I am no faber at all so please to don't hate me guys

Haha yeah they are crappy, just bought them to cut out the tops to adjust the rocker arms while it's running so I don't dump oil all over!
It was initially a 350... Bored it out 0.030" over and threw in am Eagle forged "stroker" crank making it a 383... Then threw in some 6" H-beam connecting rods and flat top forged pistons... Then threw in comp cams 12-450-8 magnum hudrollic roller cam, and topped it off with some 195cc AFR aluminum heads! Also have edelbrocs RPM air-gap intake manifold on there with a holley truck avenger carb (670CFM) looking to get their 770CFM one though!
Unfortunately I never got a chance to run it on a dyno, ran it on a start up stand for about 10 minutes but that's all I got to hear of it.... Itchin to fire it up again though! Should have some pretty healthy tourque though!
