Thank you! Yeah I had to weigh it so I could order the right springs and I figured I should bring it in and show welch!... New springs came in yesterday so I'll be throwing them on tomorrow morning, then it's testing time in ocotillo Sunday!

So ocotillo went well this Sunday, not a lot of problems. Bent the center link for the steering pretty early in the day, so we had to straighten that back out, but soon after putting it back on it bent again, so I need to make that stronger. Also I am having some problems with the motor bogging when I really get on it hard at around 4000-5000RPM mostly, I think it could be something with the vacuum secondaries on the carb but I'm waiting to hear back from Holley. (I'll post a video later of me opening it up and it bogging, it loses all power and sounds like it wants to stall, which isnt good, specially when trying to keep the front end light! Haha)

Here is a couple pictures, the first is of the front skid plate (the grill will fit better over the bumper once I trim the fiberglass to fit around the top two bumper tubes), and the second is the hydrollic ram I threw on the tool box lid.

Been out testing 3 times, first time was uneventful, truck ran good for right out of the box, nothing broke, too windy though to do much adjusting, and we were taking it easy since the motor is fresh.... Took it out a second time, and bent the steering centerlink in a "u" like 30 minutes in, beefed it up and took it out a third time and am having some really bad motor bogging problems that I am trying to asses... I need to just go out testing again and try and figure out if it's an air or fuel shortage causing the problem. (it's a pain because everytime I get on it hard it falls flat on its face, which sucks in whoops and such) but the suspension is feeling really good, just need to stiffen up the front a little more. I started a thread in shop-engines that I have had a lot of responses to so now it's just a matter of testing and checking possible issues off the list

Alright so I know it's been a while since I have updated this but I have only been doing little stuff to the truck... Took it to a friends property today and worked on the carb issues and finally got it all worked out, just need to do some fine tuning (running a little rich and has a small hesitation from idle to stepping on it). Feeling pretty pumped and ready for it to cool down so I can get back out to the desert!

Holy Crap dude!!! I don't visit RDC for awhile and now I log on to find that your driving the truck around already. The truck turned out NICE. Great job getting her done.
