does anyone else drag race 1/4 mile? till i get a desert car together me and a few freinds race brackets in the psca street car series. wanna build my own car as well for 1/4 mile, but desert is first.

why isn't there a 1/4 or at least a 1/8 mile track in OC? it gets dangerous just crusing around cuz of all the street racers. are there any tracks near OC except for carlsbad, fontana, or irwindale? these tracks are too far away.
anyway i have a 1970 chevy camaro that will fill my racing need until i get buy a truck.
Why not do both by moving some dirt in, Mickey Thompson style, and have two Trophy trucks or whatever race down the course. Kind of like Monster trucks but faster. It could begin with 3 foot rollers shortly after the start, then on to a Laughlin type jump and cross the finish line high in the air....
