I'm pretty surprised that anyone would think that this BS would actually do you any good. Why not go out and work your ass off at the races so people actually know who you are instead of free-loading off of Durky.
Lame.
Very true...since I really hate the sue 'em now mentality I totally overlooked the legal aspect of it. Using it (as in redirect) and owning it are two different things though. Regardless in this scenario the moral aspect is not cool.

Just to set the record straight and in defense of Durka Kartman's claim -
This same individual was claiming credit (on his personal website) for an ad design I was commissioned to create for a company within the off-road industry that he was employed by at the time. After I learned of what was being claimed, and looked for myself, I IMMEDIATELY contacted this individual via email and RDC PM, requesting in a professional tone and manner, that he IMMEDIATELY cease, desist and remove any material that I was responsible for creating and that his employer at the time, compensated me for. These requests went unanswered and ignored!
It wasn't until I had the opportunity to be contacted by the same company regarding additional creative work they were interested in having me involved with, that I would be in the same location as this person. After my business was conducted and my meeting complete, I asked to speak to this individual outside of his employers office. I felt this was the appropriate course of action, since this did not (directly) involve his employer (yet).
Once outside, I reminded this individual of my earlier communication attempts with him and was compelled to make him aware of the impending legal action and severity of the increasing damages ($$$) that were being calculated by my attorney. This individual wanted to continue to dispute the facts of the matter, at which time I made my course of action clear and that if the file in question was not removed by the time I returned to my office (approx a 2 hour drive), that he would then learn the consequences of his decision.
The ad design I created WAS removed from his personal site when I returned to my office that afternoon, and I DID send an email confirming my knowledge of this and thanked him for his attention to the matter. I also stated that I was CONFIDENT it would NEVER occur again!!!
I'm confident the RDC Familia is smart enough and loyal enough, to not support individuals who engage in this sort of conduct.
With Durka's claim today, sounds like it's "business as usual" for this individual.......

Hey TB, I liked the "CHEEZE" version of this e-mail better....LOL. As for Rotim, The one thing I cannot stand is a person who won't man up and take responsibility for his actions. "it wasn't intended for that" is not the answer, my 10 year old lies better than that. I'd have more respect for you if you said you did it because Durky is an a $ $ clown and he had it coming, but you instead go for the "the dog ate my homework" theory......but the fact would still remain that you were trying to STEAL his customers. You made your own bed and deserve the repercussions of your actions. Jurors, you may now take a 10minute recess and return with your verdict......
