1400 / 1450 class rules for HDRA
After speaking with Roger, Ken, and Robert I am happy to say that I will be the class rep for the 1400 / 1450 classes. Everyone involved with HDRA wants to make all class rules from what the racers want. I have worked with other series on the idea of making a pro and a sportsman class with no such luck. HDRA will have 2 classes for the "prerunner" trucks. Now I need your help, what should the rules be???? We have some ideas but would like to hear from the racers and the fans. If you dont want to answer on here, please feel free to email me [email protected]
Thanks,
Bryant

This has already been a finely tuned discussion. Hopefully we will get it straight this time w/o all the irrelevant noise.

I think the basic rules for 1400/1450 are as follows:
1450: Steel cab/working factory doors. Motor/suspension: Unlimited
1400: Unlimited everything.
I think that sums it up. lol

1400 sounds like another TT class?

1450 is a sportsman class. Same rules as always. Steel cab and working doors. Simple .

Im going to oppose this. 1400/1450 are both somewhat of a weekend warrior class. I say we go by what MORE has set up.
1450=cabbed and framed trucks that are leafsprung, midsize run max V6, fullsize run max V8.
1400= cabbed and framed trucks, Everything else is unlimited.
NO FIBERGLASS TRUCKS
If we run it this way, then we don't have people running class 8 trucks and TT's in 1400 making it fair for everyone.

I can't remember the last time a fiber cab has won a 1450 race? Most of the fiber cab trucks were fixed from rollovers. If a TT wants to race 1400 who cares their the ones who look silly

1450 should be sportsman and lets work out the rules like working doors and steel cab
But wouldnt it be cool 1400 class to finally get the respect of a pro class
