Re: Pflueger Racing Pit Journal Update
To answer a few questions...
The decision to remove the hood was made as the fit was not quite the same after a few mods made to the TT. So rather than having to deal with it during the race, or turning it into a $$ coffee table in Baja, the decision was made to pull it off the start.
Before the TT was completed, I asked Alan what he would name him.
Atilla was his response.
------------------------------------------
From hyperhistory.net:
"Atilla was a fierce, merciless warrior on the battlefield. The devastation he left behind him is unmatched. Through his aggression, he posed an extreme threat to the Romans and very nearly conquered Rome itself. His accomplishments off the battlefield cannot go unnoticed, however. During his reign, he was able to transform the nomadic Huns into a sedentary empire. He collected immense riches for the Huns and had a very prosperous reign. In many European cultures today, Atilla the Hun is honored as a hero."
------------------------------------------
Pretty much sums it up, you think?

Re: Pflueger Racing Pit Journal Update
Speaking of Pflueger Racing, what were they and ASA doing in Carlsbad, just off Palomar Airport Road, last Friday? The Cops, and there were lots of them, had the road closed off. The Pflueger Racing transporter and several ASA trailers were there. Don't know if the TT was there, I didn't have time to stop.

Protest Rally I think. It was supposed to be the week previous, but because of Regans funeral it was moved 1 week.
