MORE class 9 open type 1 swing axle for 2012!!!!

I emailed Jim at MORE about the possibility of an open trans rule for 2012 and he said this is a decision for the racers to make and not just him. He asked me to post a thread for it on MORE's race talk section to see if there is any interest in it. He said if there was enough interest he would allow it to be voted on by the racers!!! So if you are ready to make a change to this class for the better, make your car more reliable, and save money in the long run go to MORE's racetalk forum and respond to the thread that's there!!!! WE CAN DO IT!

VW type 1 4 speed swing transaxle only. Heavy duty side plates and 4 spider differential allowed. Type 1 ring and pinion only. Type 1 1st-4th gears only. Must have reverse gear, Type 1 only. Axle tube and retaining plate stiffeners allowed. Other internal modifications allowed.

MORE site is really NOT the place to debate this issue tell people to come here--That site is info on MORE races ...............
the format is not designed to do what we are doing-------------
set up a ballot-----have it posted here
requirements are you have to own a 9 car, pic or proof if no one knows you.
one vote
set a deadline
and be done with it-
email Jeff Fields, Joe Giffin, Mike Herbert ( Rancho ) and every other trans builder so the can tell their clients.
A lot of people who race NEVER go on line to look at this stuff------------
Bring ballots to the MORE race POWDER PUFF, there are 9 nine cars entered.

Ok, well all I'm doing is what Jim asked me to do. Post it on MORE forum and if people showed an interest there he would allow the racers to vote on it. It is not meant to be debated there. I put this in my first post on this thread.
