I CC for Jeff Carpenter Racing Inc. Heath Carpenter use to be the driver.
The team is now running under the Speedco colors with Kyle Lucas at the wheel.
This was our first Race weekend with Kyle in the truck, we tested with him at the regional but due to the weather we had limited laps. Also we are on general tires now so we have had to figure out the grooves and air pressures.
We qualified 11th Saturday and by the half way point we were running 5th when currie and Morris got into each other. Kyle was in mid air and came down pretty much on Morris. Our truck wasn't bent to bad but did have two flats. Our hot pit crew did an awesome job getting him back out before the green and Kyle drove her home to a 10th place finish.
Sunday we qualified 17th and once again by mid way we were in the top 5 but Kyle made a slight mistake and ended up in his lid, that's racing. He got her back rolling and finished 12th. We are very happy with the truck and general tires. I can't wait to get to Elsinore because I feel like we are a black horse in the pro lite class.

Re: Where are all the V-8 Pro-Lite Unlimited's?
Just an observation I made as I was looking through pics from the LOORRS opening weekend. I'm not quite understanding the "ram" pro-lite trucks. They're running a Nissan body that just has a ram grille stuck on the front. Can't we try a little harder than this?

Re: Where are all the V-8 Pro-Lite Unlimited's?
I think it is since there are only a few Dodge Pro Lites running vs Ford, Nissan, Toyota, that Boatec hasn't made any new Dodge bodies because it would be a while before they made any money on the Ram body.
This is just my opinion, if anyones know the real reason feel free to correct me.

It just seems to me that with Mopar being so big in the torc series, that there would be a real body available. Then again, there is no more Dakota.

How about 15 year old Bradley Morris putting on a clinic in the Pro-Lite class this weekend winning both Saturday and Sunday!

This is good to see bradley did so well this weekend, it just shows talent that has been groomed from the karts, congratulation to the whole bme crew.
