Lowfatbugs computer is down, so hes not doing much online at present. The car is about ready for the EDR Texas 300 day/night race No trees Tx.
I took my daughter up there last Saturday and he took her for a ride before she heads off to boot camp. He has it pretty much dressed out with the safety gear and he should be starting on final inspection and prep for the race.

Lowfatbug sent me these pics last night to my phone. he told me the second pic with the factory bug rim and tire should give you an idea of how high it sits.

Looks to be close to 16" or so high. Car is looking good. But looks to be a bit of trimming for a proper fitment of the glass hood.

Where is Texas are you guys racing at, trying to find locations here in Texas to run my truck when it's done. Or at least somewhere to drive it hard on a track or trail.

we have a couple of courses that are used by two race orgs. one is in Notrees, TX, just west of Odessa. the other is in Blackwell, TX on the Texana Ranch.
Next race is Sept 14-15 at the Notrees course.

So I stopped by a met Billy yesterday and saw his car. He's done some interesting things with it, it isn't as bad as what we all thought. He's built this thing with very little money and used some pretty unconventional things to get where he is. It has the potential to actually finish a race. I can't wait to line up with him in Notrees next month!
