    Re: RCP 5th Scale class1

Here it is with a body mocked up with cardboard and masking tape, This is not the final look it is to get a idea of different styles and guide lines to use for the making of the body...

Yes XRMikey I know the hood is to long , I usually start big and trim it down little by little.

And the roof will get shortened up on the rear, I am keeping the rear flat to put tail lights on.

Here is the latest pics of the Chassis tig welded along with new shock tower bulk heads that were laser cut from sheet metal. The cage weighed in at 4lbs. 3 oz. the tubes are Stainless Steel 3/8 tubing .063 it also is very easy to remove. The goal was to keep it light and mount to a stock baja platform, we are now in the stages to make it out of plastic and will be available in both materials. Also available will the body in aluminum and Lexan , there will be a wide choice of body designs and roofs made from Lexan engineered to take a blow protecting the metal cages.

Nice! Something I have been wanting to do for a while but had no idea where to start. That shock tower is flippin' sweet! Make one for a Slash and I'll be your first buyer!
