Where were the entries BWDC?
Was really surprised what a low count BWDC generated in this class. Thought 20 for sure. Where was everyone? Great course. Fast and some technical stuff.

Re: Where were the entries BWDC?
Lot of big names entered for next weekends race, but still only 13 cars. And baja 1000 list is looking good for 1600, still a month and a half out, should be 20 cars there for sure, but no BITD regular's on that list.... $$$$ brings the cars.

You are kidding, right? Dusty, Dangerous - you can't race if you can't see.

The course was pretty technical but I liked it. I saw almost everything only had dust on my first lap with the 12 cars and a little on the last laps when we started catching the stock trucks. The race itself was really fun.

Ramsey, hell yes I liked that course, as compared to say BAP, or RAR. Those are 4th gear sprints. NOTHING technical at all. I like a challenge.
I would love to go to the 1000, but need mad support for that race. Can a racer rely solely on outside pit support for tires, fuel, and parts, from say Checkers, Baja Pits and such. I have had a few drivers ask me, but the cost of support is the unknown. It's literally been 2o years since down there, except to my time share in CABO.

I watched all of our in car footage from both days of racing, 70% is useless, can't even see the dirt for the dust.
If you run BFGs on a regular basis, they will handle you for free, Baja Pits if you run Generals. Otherwise Baja Pits is $800, I think, and they can handle everything. Mag 7, Fair and others are also available.
