This is the co-pilot (Hunter) As usual i check the side mirrors all the time, but as this track was really dusty I would try my best to see behind us. I never saw you or heard any horn. Then all the sudden we got bumped. After that I tried to tell my dad to move over (problems with the radio) He finally found a spot to move over and we were on an angle because it was a slight right turn right where we pulled off and then when you were passing us it seemed like you came in on an angle and hit our front tire and rolled (to give an idea your right rear panel and tire ripped our driver side hood latch witch is approximately 4ft of clearing our truck.) I was telling my dad to pull over (once again radio problems trying to talk to him) but kept going. We are glad everyone is safe and ok. In the 5 years of racing my dad has rolled 3 different times and not once has anyone ever stopped for him, not saying thats an excuse, but in the heat of the battle and racing especially being in first for points its hard to think clearly and come to a complete stop. Hope I can buy you a beer and shake your hand in Laughlin.

    Did you stop?
I've never seen your truck upside down. And if I did damn right I would stop and make sure you were ok even knowing you're a douche bag who wouldn't do the same for me. Why? Because I'm a good person and have good character. Making sure a fellow racer who's apart of my "family" is ok means a hell of alot more to me than winning any race period. A wood plaque on my wall or somebody's well being..... Option A every single time no exceptions.

Yes they should have stopped. They were involved in an accident that could have resulted in injury. That to me is a no brainer.
I re-watched the video and although he is wrong for not stopping, I think the truck that is overtaking, cut it too close.

This is offroad racing is it not? We have rolled three times and not once has someone pulled over or stopped for us, nor did we expect them too.... Just saying...

Your justification is weak at best. Quit while you are ahead.

Strangely enough, I found some video footage of you guys racing in BITD (I'm assuming it's BITD since there's a bike in it):

Here's the deal beginning now OK?

In the future if you come upon a rolled vehicle, especially if the occupants are not outside of it already, please slow down/stop and make the simple hand signal to them asking if they are OK... Nothing is more aggravating than being in peril and watching somebody drive by while you wait for the fluids dripping everyplace to finally ignite and destroy your race car...

if they say yes and wave you on then get back to racing and then make sure that you call it in on weatherman and give the race ops people the location and condition of what you saw...

If they don't wave you on, provide them assistance. Their vehicle could catch fire or worse, someone could be hurt, they could even die...

Now, if contact with your vehicle made them wipe out, even of the contact was their fault, you really should stop. I dont know the background on your three roll overs and if it was driver error and you guys swapped out or if it was contact with others. If it was because of contact we all would sure like to hear about that and who it was... Most of all the roll overs I have encountered were from driver error and not contact but I dont wanna assume you guys wiped out on your own those three times...

This kind of sportsmanship may cost you a position, a win or even a championship but the karma and respect you will earn from your fellow competitors is worth more than some trophy, any day of the week.

I totally agree Dan but this is a two way street. I was racing in PC going for an overall pts and class title kind of playing it safe and in 2nd. The lead car in class rolled and landed on the roof and we could see the driver was struggling to get out and couldn't. So we stopped and couldn't move the car enough to get him out. A course worker came over with a utv so we helped him flip the car over. The driver looked at us standing there, fired up and hauled arse leaving us standing there. I would do it again in a heart beat, but at least let's line up side by side and race, and show some consideration for what was done for you.
