2012 Big Race Thread MORE Barstow July

We had a pretty uneventful race with one exception of the radio not working right from the start which i really didnt mind one bit cause it was nice and quiet. Third place to debut our brand new car is not bad at all. I drove the first three laps and Husky Chris drove the last three. Thanks to M&T racecars for building the cleanest 9 car ever, Cocks Shocks for the awesome front end, Victor for the stong motor, and RC trans for the reliable tranny. Thanks to everyone who helped in the pits, the Goltz bros and all their guys, the RPI crew (Kevin, Shelby, Cody and their crew), Jeff, Jay, Joe, Corey, Don, and John. Six laps in Barstow is miserable, congrats to all the finishers. Congrats to Jimmy on the win and Lang on the second. Also thanks to Dan Burgen for letting me use your tools at post tech. Husky Chris left in my truck as soon as he got out of the car to catch a flight back to Oregon and my tools were in my truck.

Very nice, "out of the box" first race your car looks awesome.

Nate, I spoke with you in Tech after the race. I drove the first five laps in 982. Your car looks great, Warren does awesome work! Congrats on the third place. Hope I can make it to the next race.

FYI, Toby picked the top 3 straight up...AGAIN... (now if I would only have believed him when he said the kings or gave me those 7 #'s). Congrats to all the racers you put on a great show and proved why swingers rule! Fffffrancis is officially a wuss and I'm assuming saving the prep for the October race where he'll be more in his element.
