Please use this when faxing us, as it comes directly into our e-mail accounts. We were just getting too many partial faxes, jams or running out of ink. Well you know how that goes. Hopefully, this will be a full-proof system and we won't miss any of your faxes. Our 1.760.373.8227 number will also receive faxes after 4 rings, but we think this new system might work better.

Due to minor environmental issues regarding the "dunes," which have been recently mitigated but at this late date and due to the fact that Ensenada wants to make this event the biggest in their city, we are moving the date of the event from December 17-19, 2011 to JULY 27-29. 2012 smack in the middle of the summer, where most desert racing is on hiatus and when throngs of people will be able to attend the event.
Those of you who entered have already expressed your desire to either move your entry to the July 2012 date, or your entry fees returned. The reimbursements go out Monday (11/27) in the mail or credited to your account if you used your credit card.
We had lots of entries on the first week that entries open, which is a good sign that the turnout was going to be excellent. We also almost had an equal number of Mexican entries. On the other hand, there were many calls saying that the date was too close to the Holidays and some people felt that they would not be able to make it.
Therefore, we listen and we have made the change.

Debido a problemas ambientales menores con respecto a las "Dunas", que han sido recientemente en esta fecha tarde y debido al hecho de que Ensenada quiere hacer de este evento el más grande en su ciudad, estamos pasando la fecha del evento de 17-19 de diciembre de 2011 para [tamaño = 4] [/ SIZE] [COLOR = "# FF0000"] [/COLOR] 27-29 de julio. 2012 en medio del verano, donde la mayoría carreras en el desierto estan en pausa y cuando multitudes de personas podrán participar al evento.
Aquellos de ustedes que entraron ya han expresado su deseo de mover su entrada a la fecha de julio de 2012, o devuelto tus tarifas de entrada. Los reembolsos salen el lunes (11/27) en el correo o acreditado en su cuenta si usted utilizo su tarjeta de crédito.
Hemos tenido gran cantidad de entradas en la primera semana que abrieron las entradas, que es una buena señal que la participación iba a ser excelente. Tuvimos también casi un número igual de entradas de Mexicanos. Por otro lado, hubo muchas llamadas diciendo que la fecha era demasiado cerca de las vacaciones de Navidad y algunas personas sintieron que no sería capaces de hacerlo.
