How 'bout a combo LOORS/ TORC race in November so that both series' vehicles would be on display @ the SEMA show in huge numbers! Just make the race the weekend before the show so that the vehicles can be INSIDE the show all week...

Offer points for both series, and make it the last points race weekend for each series... Race Friday and Saturday for points, and Sunday for THE CUP and $$$$! Two sets of champions, and all the big guns on hand to battle it out in epic fasion!

This sounds like a great idea. The question is...... Would the corporate policies or egos let this happen? I think the turnout would be huge.

The June 23rd weekend event for TORC at Crandon conflicts with Lucas at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. While Lucas has not released an official schedule, Miller has released their event schedule and with a multi-year contract already in place with Lucas, Miller can say Lucas will be at the track June 23rd.

that's a real shame. let the few teams capable of running both run both...

Ross the real problem isn't the one or two teams that can run both series it's the vendors that come out to spport the teams at the track every race weekend, from the tire manufactures to engine suppliers now we have to decide what is where to go. Some may have a real hard choice as to which series to be at on a stacked weekend.
