That's what I was thinking too. Apparently, a line has been drawn in the dirt finally...

Ross the real problem isn't the one or two teams that can run both series it's the vendors that come out to spport the teams at the track every race weekend, from the tire manufactures to engine suppliers now we have to decide what is where to go. Some may have a real hard choice as to which series to be at on a stacked weekend.

Spring Crandon typically falls on fathers day seems they moved it out a week...

this is a tough one. i always recall spring crandon being roughly the 21st of june, this past year it was early and it missed the LOORRS race by a week. according to the MMP schedule the Lucas event is the same weekend as this past year, could be official or a good guess by the webmaster, who knows. LOORRS has not officially released a schedule yet and the TORC schedule is still "full of holes" so for now i'm going to remain optimistic that both series will work together to avoid overlapping dates in 2012.. intentionally "drawing a line" would not be good for either series...

Are the series directors actively working together? If both series can remain successfull while cooperating with each other, it would continue to bridge fans and competitors of both series/regions and attract more television interest on a national level. The last thing I want as a fan is for either to arrogantly think one is more important than the other; ie, the IRL vs CART debacle. Both series have their strengths, build on them; like protecting Labor Day weekend at Crandon, for example.
