Well, that was a navigational nightmare! Even Nasser Al Attiyah and his co-driver ended up with 1 hour 55 minutes penalties for not following the route. A lesson to be learnt for the organisers for the next one for when they make the road book!

4th overall out of 26 starters was a credible result. We were also the 1st 2 wheel drive vehicle (there were 2 pro-trucks there as well).

True enough, DD, but some of us enjoy reading about others. In fact, I'm thinking about a thread dedicated to the #308 of the Overdrive Toyota folks, especially after the news I received last night.

What about Terranova?
The last news were about his change in co-driver, because of the Nasser possible deal chosing Luz Cruz.
He will be co driven by Fernando Pizzano.
There are some rumors that even without the "Nasser affaire", Terranova would have nto achieved a deal with Cruz.

Thsi weekend, in a pre-dakar TV show, he spoke really bad about the BMW team (he raced for them in 2009 and 2011, but in some other round of the Rally raid championship. he mentioned thst some parts failures appeared, as the one that led his to crash last year (a broken wheel disc which blocked the wheel, he mentioned). really an unneccessary comment.
