    Competition Caution

Can someone explain this to me? I have wondered why they do it for some time now. I have to be missing something as I think short course is the only form of motor sports that does this.

    Re: Competition Caution

Nascar needs to do it too.
Once the race gets past the last fuel window have a competition yellow and put a end to the dumb azz fuel mileage racing.

Dosen't Nascar have mandatory yellow's already on some tracks?

So it is like qualifying and then a sprint race. Haha. I just have never liked it. Race green to checkers.

    Re: Competition Caution

I think it was to help the fans not to get bored with the "run away" winners all the time.
Some hate it and others love it.

    Re: Competition Caution

Im not a fan of it i think it causes less innovation in truck designs because no ones trying to catch that guy that's always running away with it they just sit and wait till the yellow flies

    Re: Competition Caution

In my opinion, they should have competition cautions in classes w/low truck/car count, because that does help make a better show for the fans. If it is a large field, then they should race flag to flag.

Then again, the competition caution was a saving grace a few times this past year.....
