Baja: Edge of Control Racing Series

A new Baja: Edge of Control Racing League (XBOX360) is being planned by the Off-Road Racing League (www.offroadracingleague.org) and DiRTnation (formerly BajaEdgeTournaments: www.dirtnation.proboards.com). We hope we can launch this new league next year beginning in January. I would like your opinion about the next ideas and also I would like to know if you would join the league.

These are the two main ideas so far:

BAJA League (Idea 1)

Two different series by class: Unlimited (TT, Class 1, Full-size Trucks & Mini Trucks) & Limited classes (Open Wheel, 4X4, Unlimited VW, Stock VW)
Two different series by type of venue: Short Course and Point-to-Point

Venues: (Possible dates just to give you an idea; races every other weekend except for the Baja 1000) Total of 24 races

- January 17: Full Size Truck
- January 31: Unlimited VW
San Felipe 250
- February 14: Trophy Truck
- February 28: Open Wheel
Short Course
- March 13: Mini Truck
- March 27: Stock VW
Sky Ranch 250
- April 10: Class 1
- April 24: 4x4
Short Course
- May 8: Trophy Truck
- May 22: Open Wheel
BAJA 500
- June 5: Full Size Truck
- June 19: Unlimited VW
Short Course
- July 3: Class 1
- July 17: 4x4
Cabo 500
- July 31: Mini Truck
- August 14: Stock VW
Short Course
- August 28: Full Size Truck
- September 11: Unlimited VW
Ensenada 250
- September 25: Class 1
- October 9: 4x4
Short Course
- October 23: Mini Truck
- November 6: Stock VW
BAJA 1000
- November 27: Trophy Truck
- December 4: Open Wheel

Baja Ghost (AKA BAJAMAN2) suggested that each series lasted 3 months with prizes for top 3.

They are down on the PlayStation Network but not on Xbox Live
