Hey....forward those pics to me when you get a chance (). I will respond to your e-mail with Ricky's number cuz I don't want to post it here.
Dan's truck was one of the first true "prerunner" trucks out there in the mid 90s. It was always parked out there on Palm next to Dave and Greg's truck. It was about 93-94 when i had my truck built up at Fabtech, having dual Bilsteins going thru the hood was "extreme" back then, high schools kids with coil-overs is the norm now. I remember only Fabtech and Downey having Toyota parts and heading out to SCORE's Fireworks race. Damn i feel old now!
Ya for a good while there I was one of the only trucks around with extended upper and lower a-arms on a Toyota. Dave has made a killing off of that kit too I wish I would have gotten some kind of royalties. Ha Ha j/k
Bajaboy~ It does seem like so long ago huh?!?!. You are in real estate? What office do you work out of? PM me details.
Klaus I am pretty sure the glass was named after Ivan Stewart from when he raced the small trucks. Here is a shot of my old truck with the 84-88 Ivan hood and fenders.
i remember going into fabtech every 2 weeks with my paycheck in hand, buying some part or other, and dan's truck parked out front was my goal...i've still got a stack of old invoices from all the stuff i did...i was a groupie
Whats up Centurion man?? Good to see you back on the site, I think back in the day you took all of our $6 an hour paychecks we used to earn all trying to be like you. For some reason I have still not come close to owning anything as bad [I have been warned] as that toyota, But that is all changing as I type.
