I've been hearing rumors over in SpecialStage. Sounds like Frode Holte, Sverre Isachsen, Doran, Block, Pastrana, Foust, Joseph Burke, Jon Burke, and presumably SRTUSA with at least Mirra. Per Eklund also says he has one of his Saab 9-3's ready to go, just needs a driver.
Edit: Almost forgot about team Hundai. The Veloster should be back in 2012 as well
I believe jimmy keeney will be back, as well as nathan Conley. A couple of privateer subaru underdogs
Matthew Johnson?

From Matt Johnson: "I'm planning to!
however it's not clear how. if I can swing in there in a 2wd class that's my backup but I'm eagerly searching for a AWD ride."
No 2wd class this year. They have make two awd class's. An open for the factory teams & teams with money to burn, and a class for RA open class cars. If Matt is looking to rent a car PM me.
Two classes of competition!
RallyCross cars are production based vehicles. Most any rally race car built on a stock unibody and within the displacement and tire size limits is eligible. There are two classes of competition for 2012: !
UNLIMITED !
Rallycross racing cars built essentially to FIA European Rallycross Championship “Supercars” specification. Inlet restrictor is 45mm.!
LIMITED !
Stage rally racing cars essentially built to Rally America “Open” or FIA “Group N” specification. Inlet restrictor is 34mm.!
Typical specs:!
• Production based “compact” cars!
• All-wheel-drive, limited-slip differentials !
• Sequential shift gearboxes (Unlimited Class only)! • 3,000 lb!
• 4-cylinder with a restricted turbocharger !
• 500 hp / 500 lb-ft torque (Unlimited Class)!
• 350 hp / 350 lb-ft torque (Limited Class)!
I guess they are "exploring" the idea of having a class for later model front wheel drive cars if there's manufacturer support. What's funny is that euro-rallycross came to the US with a grassroots target. Last year they screwed the grassroots guys out of earned prize money. This year they're not even letting them compete?
