Yeah, if you stricktly use the factor of win or lose, you are correct. But let's examine those two races, shall we? Corzine was in a very close race, so close they were thinking that we wouldn't know the results until the wee hours of the morning. Polling numbers before the weekend showed them neck and neck. But then in came Obama for a weekend blitzkrieg of appearances. Election day found that this "nail-biter" really wasn't close after all.

Score, Obama FAIL!

Doug Hoffman, a virtual unknown a month ago was suddenly catapulted to center stage in the last few weeks of the campaign, due in part to the discovery that the Repub heiarchy had selected a very liberal RINO candidate. When various orgs such as the Tea Party folks and others caught wind of this, the ball started rolling in his favor. But it was only when he started receiving support from conservatives like Fred and Jerri Thomson, talk show hosts and SARAH PALIN, did he start to look as though he might have a chance.

Score, Palin and all the other conservatives that threw him their support, WIN! (even though he lost)

Now I know that you look at things through a different lens than most. I imagine for you, it's pretty much black and white. In the case of Palin, it's those shades of gray that we're talking about here.
