You can't go wrong with Galco or Bianchi:

Try Galco first, I've always preferred them. Prices can be a little steep but they're all excellent quality.

So is the price. Besides, Comp-Tac is more for armed forces and police work. Most of their holsters are acrylic poly-vinyl, which is good stuff, but I still prefer leather. Comp-Tac has a lot of nice waist or thigh holsters, but Galco IMO has more options, such as shoulder holsters (which I prefer over waist).

Not at all. Most of what they make is CCW oriented. Yes they are kydex which I find better than leather. If you want leather check into Milt Sparks, Kramer or Alessi. All head and shoulders above Galco and Bianchi.

I am currently on my 10 day period on two guns, then I will start on my third after my 30 day pistol period. I took advantage of the Turners sale over the past weekend. oopppsss I just told the old lady its cheaper than racing.

Alessi's good stuff, haven't heard of the other two. Might have to check them out...

They are small craftsman type shops as opposed to the large mass production operations of Galco/Bianchi/Safariland etc. Not cheap but great designs and quality and you get what you pay for.
