Anybody remember Farrell's Ice Cream?

They had one in Chula Vista... Way back in the 70s and 80s.... Got kinda loud sometimes... Especially when it was someones' birthday.

I remember the one. Its is now a parking lot for the extended Scripps Mercy Hospital which has taken over the entire block. Old times... I remember as kid cringing every time the siren would go off. Man, I was such a wuss.

Had many fond memories at the Chula Vista location, wasn't there one also in Spring zvalley and Fashion Valley ?

Remember the roller skate land and the Arby's Restaurant.... They had some nice roast beef sandwiches...

Chula Vista location was the only one I knew of. I remember playing Punch out arcade game for the first time there and getting my first brain freeze from a mile high sundae.

There is a god. Farrell's Ice Cream is back. I made a pig of myself and rubbed my nose to many times in the bottom of the "Pigs Trough." There were 3 or 4 in the SFV. I wounder, is the structure of the one right at the off ramp on Topanga and Ventura Blvd. still standing? It was a monument for years and then I moved to Denver in 96.
I hear that Bobs Big Boy are making a little comeback also!!!!!!!
