I didnt. Why whats wrong with the "polished" slide? I want the black upper and tan or green lower for my next one.

I like the Para-Ordinance P14-45. Same 1911 design but staggered magazine for higher capacity. I carry 13 rounds in it. Pre-ban. It was as accurate as any other stock 1911. Then I got a match barrel, trigger job, changed the hammer, added some knurling and then I REALLY loved it. Never jams, and I've had thousands of rounds through it. If you have large hands, the P14 is the best choice.

Ok so i doubt anyone cares but update, got my gun a week ago and put over 300 rounds through her. I got a Colt 80 series XSE with a blued finish (stainless seems like a gang banger finish). I like it so far, the front slide serations are tearing up my cheap fobus holster though.

Fobus is garbage, buy a real holster.

I know...it's not a 1911, but I just bought a Glock 30 SF. I can't to get it out of 10 day jail now.
