Dragonfire World Cup Race - ET Motopark - Pics and results!!!

Dragonfire held their first ever World Cup UTV / Quad event here in good ol' Arizona last weekend at ET Motopark's North track. While not as technical as the Pro track, the north track is still a full on MX track, and we were hucking our rhinos all over the place out there!

Weller Racing had a great weekend - I took 1st in our qualifier, and 2nd in the Pro Main (20 UTV field) - despite alot of carnage and a cheap shot in the last 20 feet by a fellow racer, I still finished well enough in Sunday's main to finish the weekend out with a 3rd place overall in my 2nd Pro race ever! My Weller Racing teammate, Bobby Vanbeekum, took 1st in Sunday's Pro Main and 1st in Sunday's Open Pro main as well!

Ahhh.....as much as I'd like to do the Pro Lite thing, I've got a long ways to go! Yeah, it was an awesome turnout.....very fun stuff. And I know - AZ offroad racing.....crazy stuff....! lol!

Everything ok after the roll?

Yeah....I got punted right at the finish line.....by someone behind me as I was taking that last little jump. I was hanging upside down in my harnesses saying alot of 4 letter words when my crew flipped me back up and over and I crossed the checkers. That whole weekend was pretty bad for my side panels - passenger side totally caved in, roof now needs to be replaced and so does my hood - ripped out my hood clips from the plastics on that last flip....bummer! But it was all just cosmetic - I have a really strong cage, so it's all just minimal work! It'll be all pretty again for next time!

Congratulations. Great Pics. The Track & The Area Look A Lot Like Lake Elsinore Motocross Park. You Should Check Out The Sidexside Nationals @ Lake Elsinore. Chad George, Todd Cunnungham & I Believe Chad Mittag All Raced The Series Last Year.
