My step brother has a 94 Ranger with a 4.0 he blew. Now he wants to swap in a 97 4.0 from a lightly rolled ranger. Its has an 8 bolt register on the 97 compared to a six bolt on the 94. also exaust manifold smog fitting on the drivers side is in different location. We plan to use existing brain and loom...and just swap out all sensors from the 94 motor. Are we on the right track? Has anyone been through this before?
