A two-part stage will keep the competitors busy who continue the climb to the north of the continent, between oceans and mountains. Two sections separated by a neutralization are on the agenda with varied features and landscapes. At the beginning of the day, the competitors will pass through canyons, drive on clean tracks and sink in the fesh fesh! The second special stage will call upon the drivers' and co-drivers' navigational talents, who will have to make a decision based on the very limited landmarks, while remaining focused on the WPM. To reward them for this intensive endeavour, they will drive down the steep descent to Iquique, already featured on the 2010 Dakar route, to the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

I will for sure say without a doubt 2 of the top ten will lose 2+hours. I just hope it's not RG or Nasser. But 20+% will not have a good day. In fact 20% will have a very bad day.

x2 fly....lets hope that all the bs is done with. RG needs to keep the pace and Nasser needs to gain some ground 45 mins is a lot at this point...not undoable but -10min a day will make him overdrive the car, hope he dont run out of talent. Bet they listen next time rg says to replace something

Looking at Peru.... Holy hell it's 5 days of Hummerville to the finish.... Nasser can do it to it. 50 minutes is nothing.

How will the race play out in Peru? This is the big question. What unknowns are out there? First time in Peru for everybody. If you were looking at the map and driving a Mini you might not be too stoked. and apparently if you're driving a Mini and if front of Al-Attiyah you might not be too happy either.

Nasser needs to just drive let the crew work, unless he told the VW team what to replace and leave alone.

to tell you the truth, the way i see it is screw nasser al attiya. if he can catch up and get a podium that's fine but i'm a robby gordon fan through and through and if nasser pulls it out of the bag and rg finishes second i'm gonna be bummed big time. rg has driven a much better, more calculated race and al attiya is just cowboying his way through this thing. am i impressed with the guy? sure..about 5th or 6th place worth. gas the f u c k on rg.

It's just a matter of time before Nasser yard sales that thing. I hope RG and Nasser don't start bumping heads which it sounds like they already are. Anywho, I see Team Humbuggy making up good time the next couple days.
