Guess it's time to start it.
RG in after no one gave him a chance.
should be an awesome race.
How did he do today??
I was wrong. Big props to RG for pulling it off. My money was that the hauler would be heading back to NC tonight. Now he needs to REALLY prove me wrong and score a top ten.
7th I think. He made the cut anyway. Even had an interview after the race.
5th and a starting spot.
I was betting the same,he only needs a top 20 to impress me
If he finishes on the lead lap he will impress me!
Cheers to that
Still showing 5th, stating 12th in the big one. 1st lap huge tire rub. MIKEE crashed coming out of the PITs. Danica big crash, not her fault
danicas crash was huge, thats 1 bush in the wall 2 more to go
That was pretty impressive the way she got her hands off the wheel just be fore impact.
Nicely done RG.. Top 10 would be nice... But even Derrick Cope could win this one.. Gas on RG!!
That's funny right there!
i was watching the thing but rg was so far back he needed binoculars to see the leaders and i decided to go out to the garage and do something more pleasant like putting my pecker in a vice.....but a temporary moment of reason kicked in and i decided not to...
i'm glad he made it in. i'm lookin' at a top 3 finish if ole' peterhansel , and those french guys and them aren't there.
Hope he stays away from the big one. starts 17th, usually big one mid pack. wondering if hes gonna hang in the back or try and be with lead pack? which he did at last years 500 and Talladega.
I have to say, I'm not really a Danica fan.. but she earned some respect from me after today. That was a hell of a lick!
You know what Michael she made a few respect points on my end as well but it's still early.
The only way that is going to be an option either way is if he gets a Penske bullet. Without it he will not be able to keep up and keep it alive. Great run, the whole operation needed that!
five years ago it'd probably have killed her. Amazing how she kept her awareness of the situation.
Jury is still out, but she represented herself well.
I think he has to try and stay in the pack this year, he is running about 3 to 4 mph slower than the top 20, it was pos's caution that let him wiggle into 5th in the duel.If he loses the draft it wont be long before the lack of R&D catches up with him and the pack comes around and puts him a lap down.
