Does anyone know what the maximum length of a one piece drive shaft can be. I just put a 302 with a turbo400 in a 96 tacoma and would like to run a one piece slip shaft. The shaft would have to be about 62" long. if this is too long, i have to run a two piece which will increase plunge and operating angles. Any ideas would be helpfull!

I have seen a couple of V8 Rangers run driveshafts that are at least that long ( if not a foot longer) with no problems. You probably want to run a bit larger than normal diameter to get the strength and rigidity, at least a 3" diameter.
