I heard that the Letners bought a new Class 1 car from Tatum, and that Harley and Cory are going to race two cars at the 500 this year.

Are you sure it was another Tatum? I heard several months ago they were looking at a Stream Line Class 1 car....

Does not matter who makes it, them boys got grande huevos!
  7. They might as well build a jimco without a torque converter so they just can just start winning every race. By far two of the fastest class 1 drivers out there, why not!

We are building a class 1 that is a finished roller. It is going to Ochoa's shop this weekend for the alum. body. I was going to wait until it was done but since this has been brought up, here are some pictures.

As far as two cars at the 500 I don’t think it will happen. Primm??

Well Andy its not a Jimco but it I think it will do just fine. I have been working alot with Henery & Harley on this car and we built it exactly as they wanted, plus some. So, will see?

Yeah Danny car looks good. I don't think it matters much what car they drive they will do good in it and make the car look good as well.

The Chassis & suspension specs. are the same as past cars, other than the obvious, rolled A pillar & boxed rear shock mounts. We also changed the upper A arms from Alum. to 4130 plate. (we have not had any problems with the alum. arms but the 4130 arms are 2lbs lighter)
The wheel base is 124" & track width is 90". The 37" tires in the pictures are just to move the car around, the car is set up to run 35's.

O yea, I forgot to mention we also added a bigger bumper than I normally run!

As far as the Letner’s involvement, we have used every part they wanted and put it where they wanted it. "Hank" has been around off road racing for a real long time & has very good suggestions & input.

I also have to give Daniel who works for me #1 props for doing such a great job building this car! I am very excited to finally get this car done.
