Sounds like not too many entries for quads in this race?

Quad Ironman Expert was the big draw with 8 in class.

Am Ironman was won by Alex Ortiz on a Yam Raptor 250. 4hrs 37min. Not bad for his first long distance race. 13yrs old and alot of racing ahead. Good job son.

He will be at the SS300. He was all ready setting up a training loop around the house yesterday. We race in the Worcs series also. Thanks for all the good words, it makes a father proud.

That kid was awesome! He beat my friend Phil (Ironman Expert), haha. We teased him all night about that.

The race was great. I can't believe it's been 5 years since the last time I soloed and did 3 laps! I can't imagine doing that now. 2 was just fine, haha! I had to race with no stabilizer for all of the second lap, wow. I am one sore puppy today! yikes!

Thanks to ALL my awesome friends and all the new quad people I've met for all their support. It makes it all worthwhile. So fun!

    Good job everyone!! :)

I'll check on the o5 when I get home. Thanks for the props. Since I can't race anymore, helping out and taking pix is the next best thing!!

X2, thanks for taking the time to do this bobylax, it really is great. Thanks!

Ended up 5th in Quad Ironman Expert, started losing fourth gear around mile 10 on the first lap, was totally gone just after Midway. You don't realize how much you use fourth gear untill you don't have it! Was disappointed because I felt I had a good run going and felt great. I just went easy from Midway on out because I wanted to make it to the finish. I am not looking forward to pulling the engine apart, it was making all kinds of noises by the time I got to the finish, but at least I made it!

You still finished Doug.... Greg job by the entire QIM Expert class for finishing (8 starters and 8 finishers). A little bird told me that we have another PRO in the class (605). Oh well... see you guys at Silver State.

605 is Max, he used to race Pro with Whiplash then quit racing for a few years and made a comeback last year and raced Senior Pro (35+) and got 2nd in the season. He is a good rider, if you want to run ironman there is nowhere else to race, maybe they should offer a discounted ironman pro fee and let them do all 3 laps?

Trent, did you get a chance to get on the bike? Heard over the radio you guys were "blowed-up". Bike looked good when it went by us at mile 4.
