Does SCORE just choose who they think should be on the ballots or do they actually listen to who the racers think should actually win? Not knocking the other companies listed for Contingency Company of the year ... but I would think that Amber Racing should have been considered for voting. Maybe all of the F&L and VP fuel we give out doesn't count enough to be eligible?

I think SCORE should look at all companies who are supporting their racers. We are planning on rolling out contingency for both fuels as well for races in Mexico for the 2012 season as well ...

Why not list all companies that posted contingency and allow the racers choose?

    Just sayin.

    Thoughts?

I was also surprised not to see RDC on there under the media category, I guess live video and live corrected time updates for each race along with weatherman stream is not enough to get nominated......

Also why is Baja Flo on there under videos? Its been 3-4 years since his last video lol

Agreed! I understand certain nominations ... but some are definitely political.

I don't want my thread to sound as if we are complaining ... just wondering if everyone else were thinking the same as we were. It is almost expected with Sunoco being the official fuel ... but when we sell 97% of the race fuel at off road races, something has to be said about that. I know how much we give back to their racers ... maybe SCORE doesn't?

And if Johnny Campbell doesn't win, well ... lol

In past years ballots were sent to members to nominate people in each category. No idea how it was done this year.

B-Dub have you bump your head, the 500 and 1000 are the to biggest races to win in any bucket list of off road thing to do ( okay maybe dakar to) and without SCORE providing the many years of support in making it happen were would off road be. I know all my child hood heros were make famous from the baja 1000 and the Mint 400 in the 60 70 and 80. Now its a little less with the other promoters having big races but trust me, SCORE and its mexican charm still make my blood flow after 35 years. Hope the head injury heals soon your invited to tag along we me anytime.

Kev I'm just jackin em up a little, Baja is on my bucket list to do with my boys and when things turn around we will be there in our own ride. SCORE has just priced the little teams out and I feel that Sal only cares about how much he can profit. But I also understand that its all about a business for him. Hey great job on the 1000 your boy is awesome. I dont care what that truck guy says. PS I know I'm not the younger gen. ask my boys. Heads healing fine and I'll shut up now LOL
