It looks like they are trying to screw up the 1600 race with 55 now they want to put the 1800s in the race and that would put close to 65 cars all on the track at the same time , and the slower class could be a factor in the outcome of the 1600 race . I hope snore looks at this

It's actually brilliant. This gives EVERYONE a fair shot, not just the guys who got a lucky draw and get to start up front. Now the guys in the front don't get clean air the entire race. KUDOS SNORE!!

Call me stupid (it has been done before) but what is going on with the 1600 race - what is an 1800 car and where do they start, before or after the 1600's?

they call it champ class. like a 1585 motor or something like that and no bypass shocks, like a watered down 1600 car

1800 cars are basically pump gas 1600 cars with internal by-pass only shocks, drum brakes, and no power steering..... throwback 1600s basically...... And I would guess they would start after the 1600 cars.

Not to mention you are only allowed a single 8" x 2" x 5/8 shaft shock with resi up front, and 2 12 inchers in the back.

Internal bypass huh... hmmm... my rule sheet says no bypass front or rear.

Pat , I have to disagree with you on this one . The cars that start 1st in 1600 will get one lap dust free and then hit lap traffic about the end of the second lap . That is still an advantage . The champ cars are close in speed on the roads but not the rough . The real problem I see is the class 11s racing with class 12

It's still better than 5 laps dust free.

With 50+ 1600's I doubt the leaders will get more than 1 lap before they catch back markers.

personally i feel that with that many 1600's out there no car would have a dust free race on a 14 mile course.

will they invert the finishing position from saturday for the start on sunday? this is the only way to level the field IMHO

I say invert the starting order from saturday to sunday. if someone works from the back to the front they dont deserve to be shoved to the back again. but if they had a decent run in the back and a good run from the front sunday theres a good balance and chance at the win....

I agree.. They (SNORE) usually have a meeting with the top finishers from the first day and have them vote on it. NOW 11's with the 12'S,,,,,,,, Thats just looking for some serious "POP-CORN" time on the web-site after the race. " OHHH that Blah Blah blah, ran into my car and hurt it"!!! I'll stock up now!

yeah but what about the guy that starts 30th out of 60???

if you invert the starting order he will still start 30th again... it screws over the middle group by just inverting the starting order its not fair no matter how you look at it but there has to be some way of making the playing field as level as possible...

invert the finishing order is the best solution IMO
